A war within

They were promised that the country where they would be living will be one, where one would find justice, liberty, equality and fraternity. But what they got is far from the above four words mentioned in the previous sentence. The three (or four) pillars of the democracy are no more pillars, but some broken promises, which were never kept by the descendants of our nation’s founding fathers. One can justify the brutal actions of the invading British or the Muslims, as they were aliens to (not at all connected to this land), but how can one explain these corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, police or any man having a government job. They are the sons & daughters of this soil.

The victims were lying there. Nobody even bothered to look at them. Those who stared moved away as they had other important tasks to do. Helping a dying couple is not important at all (as far as you are an Indian). Someone thought, “what if they were from another caste? Touching them might have lead to taking bath in the middle of the night.”

Protesting is becoming fashion now, but helping is not.  If she had been taken to a hospital a little earlier, those candles could have put aside for some corrupt politician’s funeral march.

Some of the so called patriots will suggest, how their country is growing so fast, how it’s not a failed state, how there is freedom of speech in their country. But will you call a creepy Politician from a minority community “bragging about killing all the people from another community in 15 minutes” freedom of speech?

Those who were against the alleged comments of Robert Vadra comparing India to a banana republic needs to look around a little more.

Some crazy god man made the following statement about the Delhi gang rape,

” Only five-six people are not the culprits. The victim daughter is as guilty as her rapists… She should have called the culprits brothers and begged before them to stop… This could have saved her dignity and life. Can one hand clap? I don’t think so.”

What would you call those people who worship these crap headed god men?
